I am Tejas D N, an EEE graduate from Sri Sairam College of Engineering, Bangalore. I am happy to share that I have been placed at RT Vision Technologies Pvt. Ltd. through Emertxe.I chose Embedded Systems as my career path because I was always curious about how real-time machines work and how hardware and software interact. Although I started my career in electrical design, I wanted to move into a core technical field that combines electronics and programming, and Embedded Systems was the perfect choice for me.The ECEP course at Emertxe provided me with a strong foundation in C programming, microcontrollers, and Linux. The structured modules, regular assignments, and especially the industry-level projects played a major role in my placement. In fact, most of my interview discussions were based on my projects, and the mock interviews at Emertxe gave me the confidence to answer technical questions clearly. The journey was challenging, especially transitioning from electrical design to embedded software. However, the mentors and placement team at Emertxe were extremely supportive. They patiently cleared my doubts, guided me throughout the learning process, helped improve my skills, and provided strong placement preparation through mock interviews and technical discussions. My message to future students is clear your doubts on the same day, stay consistent, work seriously on projects, and always ask yourself “What?”, “Why?”, and “How does it work?”. If you are disciplined, patient, and curious, success will definitely follow.Thank you, Emertxe, for helping me successfully transition into the Embedded domain.

I’m Chandana S N from Jain Institute of Technology, Davanagere, and I’m happy to share that I have been placed at LG Soft India, Bangalore.I always had an interest in Embedded Systems, but I was initially confused about how to start and which path to choose. One of my seniors suggested this career path and recommended Emertxe. Joining this course turned out to be one of the best decisions I have made for my career.During my journey, I worked on eight major projects, including Data Structures, Linux Internals, Microcontroller-based applications, MP3 Tag Reader, Steganography, Inverted Search using hashing, and other core C programming projects. Each project strengthened my fundamentals and improved my confidence in problem-solving and debugging. The mentor support was really very good. The teaching approach is structured and clear, starting from basics and gradually moving to advanced topics. One thing I really appreciated is that if we are not comfortable with one mentor’s style, we are given the flexibility to approach another mentor for clarification. This helped me learn without hesitation. The separate lab sessions and theory sessions helped me a lot. After learning concepts in theory, implementing them immediately in lab sessions made the understanding much stronger. The assignments on each topic, along with multiple test cases, helped me focus on even the smallest details. This habit of thinking deeply about edge cases and logic really helped me during interviews. It not only improved my coding skills but also helped me understand how interviewers think. There were challenges, especially in debugging complex programs and mastering pointers and data structures, but consistent practice and guidance made a big difference.Overall, my journey was a great learning experience. If you are genuinely interested in Embedded Systems and are ready to put in consistent effort, this course will definitely help you build strong fundamentals and prepare you for placements.Thank you to the entire Emertxe team for being a part of my journey.

I joined Emertxe almost 10 months ago, and the experience was genuinely great. The mentors began with very rigorous training in C programming for the first four months. There were multiple tests throughout the C programming module, which helped us get accustomed to interview-style questions. The rest of the modules were also taught well, especially Microcontrollers and Linux Internals.I must say that Emertxe makes a sincere effort to keep its word and prepare students for interviews. This is done through mock interviews, resume-building sessions, and by bringing in multiple companies almost every day as part of the placement drives.I come from a Mechanical Engineering background, and I initially thought I would have a hard time landing a job. However, I got placed within thirty days after the classes were completed. One person who played a crucial role in this journey is a member of the Student Success team. He took care of every concern not just mine, but others’ as wellwhich speaks volumes about his dedication. Truly a great person.Overall, it has been an excellent experience, and I am currently working as a Firmware Developer in a company.(Date: Jan 2026)

I am Prince Sharma, and I completed my B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from BN College of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.During campus placements, I got placed in a manufacturing company in Chennai, where I worked for 1.5 years. However, I was not interested in continuing my career in the manufacturing domain and wanted to switch my career to Embedded Systems. At that time, I had no embedded skills and weak coding knowledge, and since I had been working for 1.5 years, I had also forgotten many of my college concepts.I decided to join an institute that could teach me from scratch. Since there are many institutes in the market, I was confused about which one to choose. I then spoke to a few Emertxe alumni on linkedin who were already placed, and all of them gave very positive feedback so i decided to join Emertxe. The training at Emertxe helped me build a strong foundation in C, C++, Data Structures, Microcontrollers, and Linux internal . Each module included assignments and real-time projects, which significantly improved my problem-solving and debugging skills.I completed 10 projects, which forced me to integrate multiple concepts and gave me the confidence to handle real industry-level tasks. The mentors are highly knowledgeable, supportive, and always ready to clarify doubts. So if anyone is struggling in their current field and wants to build a career in the core embedded domain, I strongly recommend Emertxe.I am very thankful to Emertxe Information Technologies for playing a key role in my placement at Traana Technologies.

Advanced Course FAQ

What is the difference between ECEP Intermediate & Advanced?

In ECEP, we have kept two variants namely ECEP – Intermediate and ECEP – Advanced. The Advanced embedded systems course will have one additional module – Programming with Qt.

Rest all modules remain the same Qt is additional module. Qt is one of the most popular GUI development framework in Embedded Systems Design (example – Automotive Dashboard Development), by having that additional skill you will be able to enhance your placement and career possibilities.

What is Qt?

Qt is a cross-platform GUI application development framework for various hardware and software platforms (E.g. desktop, embedded and mobile). It is supported in all major platforms like Linux, OS X, Windows, VxWorks, QNX, Android, iOS, Black-Berry, Sailfish OS and others. Qt is not a programming language on its own. It is a framework written in C++. You write the code once and make binaries for all platforms with a little or no change in the code.

  • Vi editor
  • Code Blocks IDE
  • GNU debugger (GDB) for debugging
  • Breakpoint based runtime debugging techniques
  • MakeFiles – For compiling multiple C files and generate an integrated working program
  • Buildroot – For building the Linux source code tree
  • KGDB – For debugging the kernel
  • Wireshark – For capturing and analysing network packets
  • XC8 cross compiler – For compiling PIC based embedded firmware
How should I start learning Qt programming?

Qt is an application development framework based on C++. Traditionally, C++ is the major programming language used to develop with Qt. Qt has been supporting script-based declarative programming with QML. QML is very easy to understand for anybody who is familiar with JavaScript as well as for all other developers who are familiar the basics of object oriented programming and have worked with other scripting languages.

One of the most popular ways of discovering new technologies is to walk through examples. Qt provides a large selection of examples and demos which are available in source code (check demos and examples directories in your installation). Most of the examples and demos are pre-compiled and integrated into the Examples and Demos Launcher.

At some point you should take some time to walk through the Qt technology guides and overviews provided in Qt documentation. Qt is simple to use, but you should have a basic understanding of the key concepts behind Qt to reveal its full power. Once the resume gets shortlisted and clearing the written test, next step is to attend technical and HR interviews. Interviewers expect candidates to demonstrate certain key things (technical capability, problem solving skills, representing skill, team player etc.) which plays an important role in giving a job offer. Over the years we observed students (due to lack of awareness) do some small mistakes during interviews which actually cost them the job.

In order to bring better awareness and increase the job conversion, interview prep workshops are conducted as a part of Disha. This gives practical tips, tricks and how-to to crack interviews. This workshop also covers individual strength finding and understanding interviewer’s personality (ex: technical panel vs. HR panel) to achieve the desired results – placements.

Do you offer any specific coaching for written tests?

Yes. As a part of our advanced embedded systems course, regular weekly objective tests are conducted meant to prepare you continuously for interviews in core embedded companies. Technically, these tests are of extremely high standard, which will set you up for clearing written test of any company. In order to deliver we have an online test ecosystem using which you can take it up any-time anywhere. Along with weekly tests ample amount of practise tests are given to students which will make you clear written test with ease.

On the other hand companies expect students to perform well in their Engineering Aptitude (ex: Digital electronics) and General Aptitude (ex: Quantitative) for which we expect students to prepare on their own. We can provide necessary resources (ex: Question banks) which students can practise before appearing for a company’s written test.
